Children react more positively to experiences at the dentist when the environment is designed for them. From interactions with our staff to furniture and toys, our offices are continually arranged to accommodate children. Let us know how we can make your visit special for your child.
We offer children a chance to play with toys, check out a few dental tools and watch as other children are getting their teeth cleaned. When children are unsure of themselves, a friendly and social visit to our office can be a very helpful way of acclimating them to our practice.
The oral health of children benefits tremendously from engagement. Through community events, contests, and activities, we maintain wonderful relationships with the families we serve. We encourage all families to participate!
At South Hill Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is to provide the greater Spokane area with the delivery of comprehensive, accessible, coordinated oral health care in a nurturing, child-centered dental office. We pledge to treat all children with respect and compassion, creating positive dental experiences. We promise to provide an experience that will enable our patients to develop and maintain optimum oral health for a lifetime. We are excited to work side-by-side with our families, providing dental education, community service and lasting relationships.
As pediatric specialists, we recognize that all children are unique and special, and treatment approaches or techniques may be different for each child. Parents are vital members of our team, and are encouraged to join their children in treatment areas when appropriate. There may be times when we ask for your permission to allow your child to be accompanied through their dental appointment by a member of our staff. We are proud that our doctors are fully trained in all aspects of child development. Dr. Erin and Dr. Becky have received specialized training in child psychology, sedation and behavior management. Our doctors and staff will work with parents and caregivers to identify those treatment approaches that most benefit each child.
