Meet Dr. Tessa Holmes, DDS

Dr. Tessa Holmes was drawn to pediatric dentistry for the privilege of caring for children with special healthcare needs and providing a lasting impact on children’s health.
Dr. Tessa was born in Wisconsin and raised in Vancouver, WA. She attended the University of Washington for her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry and Marquette University School of Dentistry for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Tessa completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she graduated as chief resident.
Dr. Tessa takes part in a variety of continuing education focusing on care of special healthcare needs patients. She maintains a passion for lifelong learning and advancing the field of dentistry to a modern and comfortable experience for all patients.
Dr. Tessa became Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry in 2022, and she is a member of the ADAM, AAPD, ABPD, WSDA, WSAPD, Special Care Dentistry Association, Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
Dr. Tessa is married to Peter, a general dentist in Spokane. She and her husband welcomed a baby girl in 2023 and are so excited to be raising a family in Spokane. They enjoy much of the time outdoors, hiking, backpacking, and training for marathons. She has a love of aviation and travel, and is currently working on her pilot’s license.
